How long have you been in business?
Established in 1990.
What is your primary product or service?
Center Staging is a special event production company providing Stageline mobile stages, Staging Dimensions staging, food booths, Multiquip generators and associated power distribution, scaffold structures, reviewing stands, bleachers, Mojo Barriers and much more!
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
As a musician I realized that the guys that were booking the bands and providing the production services were usually making more than the band, and I also realized that I wasn't going to be a rock and roll star!
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
We have more experience, training and equipment than any other staging company in our region.
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
Only one location.

We are located at 1535 Japonica St. If you're a long-time resident of New Orleans we are located where the SPCA was prior to Katrina, otherwise the easiest way to get to us is to go out Claiborne Ave. towards Chalmette and before crossing the industrial canal bridge bear to the right and we are on block down.
What type of payments do you accept?
Cash, Check, AX, Visa, Mastercard
Which areas do you service?
Primarily the Gulf South, but we do work nationally as well.
Who owns your company or runs daily operations?
Jay Gernsbacher, Brent Kelly is the Operations Manager in charge of daily operations
What are your hours of operation?
8am-5pm and whenever we need to be somewhere
What is the best compliment anyone can give you?
"your crew was great"! We get that a lot.
What is your favorite quote or Bible verse?
Never argue with idiots, they will drag you down to there level and beat you with experience.
